MQ-2 Gas Sensor

The MQ-2 is a low-cost sensor sensitive to various combustible gases like LPG, propane, butane, methane, alcohol, and smoke, commonly used in gas leak alarms and air quality monitors. It outputs both an analog voltage and a digital signal, with the analog voltage increasing as gas concentration rises and a digital output determined by a threshold set with an onboard potentiometer. Before use, it requires a preheating period of about 20 seconds for stable readings.
